Why are you a bellydancer?
Once when I was feeling heart-broken, I decided to try something new to lift my spirits. I had danced ballet for many years but as a working adult, I had put my focus on my career as an Art Director/Web-Designer. Although I always loved ballet, Bellydance seemed  less ridged, beautifully exotic, and creatively free. After my first class I was hooked. Bellydance became my world, intoxicating me with it’s magic. Dancing has always been such a powerful way to express myself, and makes me a stronger person mentally and physically. In this new world I met some wonderful people and soon my broken heart was healed. Since then I have still had my share of ups and downs… but through it all I will always have bellydance. The music, the spirit, and the empowerment it gives me. I enjoy teaching even more than performing because I know how joyous and healing it can be for other women. There is no better feeling in the world then connecting with others and helping them discover something that brings them joy... as it has brought me in my life.

What is proper etiquette towards a bellydancer?
I'll be blunt - Bellydancing is not stripping. It is meant to be artistic, entertaining, and fun for all ages. Please treat the dancer with respect and common courtesy.

Where won’t you perform?
Sorry, I will not do bachelor parties or all male parties.

What are your rates?
Classes: Please see classes page, as rates may vary depending on location. Privates: $40 per hour.
Parties and Events: Please contact for quote.
Restaurants and Clubs: Please contact for quote.

What is included for a hired performance?
I start with (2) 5-10 minute solo routines, followed by a free dance with guests joining in. This usually lasts about 10 minutes or until song ends. Props such as veil, swords, finger symbols, etc. may be included. I also do a mini-class teaching some basic fun moves for guests to take home. I will be available for photo opps as well.
